I recently attended the American Impressionist Society’s 12th Annual Juried Exhibition. I was fortunate to have two paintings juried into the show and was able to fly to Carmel by the Sea California for the event. Scott Christensen was the Juror and the event was well attended by artists and collectors alike. I made some new friends out west and am very glad to get to meet so many friendly and talented people.
Fortunately, I was also able to do a bit of painting. This 9″x12″ was done at Point Lobos on the California coast at sunset. If you look closely you might be able to see the remnants of all the flying gnats that landed in my painting as I worked.
